Come along and get the story of the smuggler king Bremer and his adventures in our archipelago.
How he evaded the customs and conned them due to our dangerous waters.

The liquor flowed between the ships and the occasional sup slipped safely down the smugglers' throats.
At the historic Grand Hotel, just a stone's throw from the customs office, the deals were settled.

During the prohibition period in Norway 1919-1928, the smuggling business took place in Strömstad, Koster & Hvaler's archipelago.
The entire Norra Bohuslän did good business in the liquor smuggling business.
There are many exciting stories to tell. Many true and some maybe stretching the truth....
We promise lots of happy laughs, food & drink along the way.

This tour can also be booked as a skäärgård charter outside the tour list during other times of the year.
